Thanks to all who came out over the past weeks and rode our mountain! We love to see riders out there.
Our trail crew has been hard at work keeping up with early season conditions. The recent snow and rain has not stopped us from improving the mountain and building new trails.
The Skills Zones are a great place to work on specific moves and improve your riding. Our Dual Slalom Course, located off local favorite Boulder Dash, just received a major revamp. This course allows two riders to battle each other side-by-side through berms and jumps to see who is able to claim leader of the pack.
Check out the new turns and jumps, race your friends and see who reigns supreme.
Last Call and World Cup will receive modifications starting tomorrow, check back with us next week to see what we have going on for you at our bike park!
We all love to camp. It’s what bikers do! This summer, Angel Fire Bike Park crew has set up a camping system in the Black Lot.
“Last week it became apparent that camping near the bike park is important for riders and we made the decision to allow camping in the Black Lot,” said Bike Park Director Hogan Koesis, “Camping is a huge part of bike culture and we want to embrace that.”
For just $10 per vehicle, per night, guests will be able to camp in the Black Lot at Angel Fire Resort through the summer season. Campers will have access to porta-potties and dumpsters on site. Security will be on-site collecting payment for permits which must be placed visibly on dashboards. Open fires are not allowed, however camp stoves are permitted.
Bikers are allowed to park in the lot near the bike shop during operating hours. However, overnight camping is not permitted.
The Black Lot is a parking lot located on the corner of North Angel Fire Road and South Angel Fire Road, behind Cottam’s.
So get your gear and get your DH fix at Angel Fire Bike Park this Friday!
