Department: Ski and Snowboard School
This is a great way to find out what ski school is really all about! Apprentice instructors spend their days learning how to be ski or snowboard instructors by helping instructors with classes, providing supervision, assisting the indoor staff to prepare and serve lunch, taking care of kids by helping them with their gear and clothing, and by having fun with the students to create a positive, safe, and enjoyable ski school experience for all children enrolled in the program. Training opportunities are available all season long. We are looking for applicants who can provide exceptional guest service at all times, who are excited to learn new skills, follow strict policies and procedures, work as a team, and help foster a positive, fun, and safe work environment
Environment: This is a physically demanding, indoor and outdoor position and applicants can expect to work long hours in variable winter weather conditions. Must be able to regularly carry/lift 75lbs.
Qualifications: Must be able to ski/snowboard at least an intermediate level.
Seasonal position: Full-time, part-time and very part-time (holidays only) positions are available.
Other: A ski jacket will be provided as part of the uniform. Must provide own equipment and black snow pants. Orange, black, grey, or white long sleeve shirts are to be worn under the uniform (no t-shirts or other colors). Free lunch included.
A typical shift: Starts around 8:00am and ends around 4:00pm
The Minimum Age for this Position is: Must be age 14 or 15 to qualify
