RV Resort Manager

Angel Fire Resort is seeking a RV Resort Manager to join our team and run our new, high-end RV Resort. Our RV Resort is currently under construction with an anticipated opening in May 2015.

Angel Fire Resort is committed to creating an RV hospitality experience unlike any other in North America, said Daniel E. Rakes, general counsel of Angel Fire Resort. We are working with the top experts in RV resort development to identify the most desirable amenities, and to guarantee the best resort practices, so that we greatly exceed the expectations of todays passionate RV travelers.

The new RV resort will include a well-appointed private clubhouse, paved roads, fully concreted, over-sized spaces with easy pull-through access and 50-100 amp electrical pedestals, bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities, convenient Wi-Fi access, 100 heated storage units, 10 cabins, outdoor fire pits and jacuzzis, putting and chipping greens, horseshoe pits, dog friendly areas and more. Each RV space will be large enough to handle the slide-outs of todays biggest recreational vehicles. RV spaces will be available for short and long term rentals.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, year-round position that includes a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. Full, on-site hookup is also available.

Applicants should have a bachelors degree in marketing, parks and recreation management, business administration or a related field; at least five years of experience running/directing a high-end/luxury RV Resort; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior leadership experience should demonstrate the ability to passionately and effectively lead a team of motivated, happy, hardworking, customer service oriented, and safety conscious employees;

Essential job duties include (but are not limited to):
•Providing direct oversight and management of the RV Resort and assisting with developing and implementing short term and long term strategies for the RV Resort.
•Implementing a business operation plan and policies and procedures.
•Directing the security, safety, and risk management practices of the RV Resort.
•Planning and conducting research to gain feedback on existing and/or proposed changes to RV Resort policies and facilities; formulates recommendations to present to the CEO.
•Preparing RV Resort automated management reporting as necessary.
•Addressing and coordinating maintenance and landscaping needs.
•Inspecting buildings, grounds, and facilities on a regular basis to ensure conformance to high operational standards.
•Preparing contract forms, obtaining signatures, recording customer data, collecting payments, and issuing membership cards or permits to patrons.
•Arranging for outside services such as fuel delivers, laundry, maintenance and repair, and trash collection.
•Maintaining positive customer service programs.
•Resolving guest issues/challenges while maintaining positive guest relations.
•Acting as a liaison to visitors, staff and community members, and maintaining relationships with current and potential advertising and marketing resources and visitor group representatives.
•Overseeing the operations and management of the RV Sundry/Supply/Retail store.
•Ensuring legal compliance of alcohol sales/licensing.
•Ensuring optimum usage of facilities year-round.
•Working with the Marketing Department to implement and manage the marketing program for the RV Resort.
•Creating, implementing and managing all special events and related agreements for the RV Resort.
•Developing and coordinating the RV Resort newsletter content and distribution.
•Developing the annual operating budget and plans for maintenance and capital improvement projects.
•Directing the training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.
•Assigning duties and examining work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
