Angel Fire Bike Park’s Fire 5 is the premier downhill race series in the Rocky Mountains. A series of 3 unique downhill races held at Angel Fire Bike Park throughout the bike season. Amateurs and pros alike are invited to join us for one or all five races. Cash and prizes awarded for each race and overall series winners. Competitors 21 and over will receive two beer tickets per race sponsored by Santa Fe Brewing.
Labor Day Races Awards
Labor weekend races will have a higher payout! This is a two day race and the winner will be determined by the 2 race results combined. If there is a tie in points, Sunday’s results will be the tiebreaker. Racers must compete in both Saturday & Sunday races to be eligible for any cash and prizes during this weekend.
Amateur prizes awarded to 1st-5th place for all categories averaging $4,000 in retail prizes per race. Angel Fire Bike Park has the right to change the cash payout or combine classes if there are not 5 in a category. The top 5 in every category class will make the podium.
Labor Day Point Structure:
The racer with the least amount of points from 2-day combined race results will win. Your points earned will match the place you take in each race. So, the racer in first place gets 1 point, the racer in second gets 2 points, etc. If there is a tie in points earned, the results from Sundays race will be the tiebreaker.

In the event of lightening on Saturday, we will run the race on Monday. Start list will be posted at 9 AM, practice from 9-9:30, race will start promptly at 10 AM.
