Angel Fire Resort Offers Free Skiing on the Best Snow of the

ANGEL FIRE, New Mexico (March 15, 2006) – With nearly three feet of fresh powder, Angel Fire Resort is extending an offer to all residents of New Mexico, from the Four Corners down to Las Cruces, to come enjoy a day of free skiing and snowboarding on Friday, March 24th. Angel Fire Resort wants to provide a special thanks to the people of New Mexico for their loyalty during a difficult season and celebrate the new snowfall that has arrived just in time to finish out the spring with great winter conditions.

“We have the best snow of the year so this is a perfect opportunity to invite New Mexicans to come on up to celebrate the end of the winter season. It’s also a good chance for people who have never skied to take advantage of a great mountain, for free,” explains Jon Mahanna, general manger, Angel Fire Resort.

Thanks to some late winter weather, Angel Fire Resort has received enough fresh snow to open several of its expert trails for the first time this season. In order to ski or ride for free, residents must simply present a state-issued New Mexico ID or a copy of a recent utility bill to the Angel Fire Resort ticket office, where they will receive free lift tickets for the entire household. Angel Fire Resort’s New Mexico Appreciation Day is Friday, March 24th.
