Angel Fire Resort Announces Winter Ski Season Packages

Resort Hopes Ski Packages Directed at Families and Active-Duty Military Will Encourage Outdoor Enthusiasts To “Come Up for Air!”

ANGEL FIRE, New Mexico (October 22, 2008)—Angel Fire Resort today announced new season pass discounts, winter vacation packages and early booking incentives for the 2008-2009 winter season. With the majority of Americans reported to be “stressed out” by the current state of the economy, Angel Fire Resort strives to deliver the best value in outdoor recreation and stress-free hospitality in the Southern Rockies.

“We understand that many families will be forced to take a hard look at their vacation travel plans for this season,” says Dave Dekema, director of marketing for Angel Fire Resort. “With these new offers we hope to deliver unbeatable value to families, combined with the opportunity to get out from under it all--to disconnect from the bad news on cable news programs, and re-connect with family and friends in a relaxing setting. There’s nothing like bluebird skies and first tracks in fresh powder to help someone regain perspective.”

Through November 30, Angel Fire Resort will offer a pre-season special offer discount on its unrestricted season passes. A 2008-2009 Adult Season Pass will be available for $299, a savings of $200 off the full season pass price. Student, Military and Junior season passes will be available for $199, a savings of $100 off the regular price. These season pass products have no blacked-out holiday dates. Season passes are available for purchase on the resort’s website at www.angelfireresort.com or onsite at the Angel Fire Resort Membership Office.

In addition, Angel Fire Resort is offering savings up to 20% off hotel lodging and vacation condo rentals based on availability. The slopeside Lodge at Angel Fire Resort is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation, with a full exterior renovation to be completed by November 2008. Guests wishing to take advantage of the early-season lodging discounts must contact a resort vacation planner at 800-633-7463.
