Debbie Anchustegui Joins Resort Team to Lead Critical Staffing, Training & Retention Initiatives
ANGEL FIRE, New Mexico (Wednesday, December 10, 2008)—Angel Fire Resort today announced the appointment of Debbie Anchustegui, a long-time human resources management veteran, to the position of Executive Director of Human Resources. In this role, Debbie will guide resort policies and practices for employee recruitment, training, benefit program development and employee retention.
“The most critical factor of our resort’s mission—which is to be a top-quality resort and create many happy, loyal guests--is our ability to place and retain the highest quality staff to interact with our visitors,” said Pat Brunstad, Chief Executive Officer for Angel Fire Resort. “Debbie’s extensive background in recruiting and training for quality employees speaks for itself. We are very fortunate to have her here to help tackle the unique staffing issues of our remote mountain community.”
Anchustegui made the move to Angel Fire from Boise, Idaho where she served for over ten years as the Operations Manager for Kelly Services, Inc. In that role she oversaw recruitment, coaching and training, along with the development of supervisors and in-house temporary staff. She also monitored and standardized personnel operations for numerous City Group branches, including payroll, staff performance and counseling issues for hundreds of employees.
In her role, Anchustegui will report directly to Pat Brunstad. She is joined in Angel Fire by her husband, Steve.
