ANGEL FIRE, NM - (April 10, 2013) - Angel Fire Resort, located in the Rocky Mountains of northern New Mexico, expands its popular bike park and high-elevation zipline to offer the most value for vacationers this summer. The newest addition to the summer fun is the Rocky Mountain Zipline Adventure Tour, which takes thrill-seekers through multiple zipline stages at the summit.
Along with Ziplining the resort continues its commitment to families by offering something for every everyone including: a dedicated bike park with over 50 miles of cross-country and downhill trails, high-altitude golfing, tennis, stocked fishing lakes, scenic hiking, high-altitude Frisbee golf, outdoor movie nights under the stars, Fourth of July activities, festivals, fine and al fresco dining establishments and live entertainment.
New Mexico's Only Zipline Tour is Back for its Second Summer
The Angel Fire Zipline Adventure Tour is one of the highest elevation zipline tours in the United States and the very first of its kind in New Mexico. The highly anticipated return of the Zipline Tour is giving visitors a reason to make Angel Fire one of their primary stops this summer. The zipline tour connects 6 multiple ziplines of varying lengths and descents. The adventure begins with an introductory zipline of only 100' and works up to the Super Zipline, which carries guests on an amazing 1,600' cable 200' above the forest floor. Did we mention that it is actually two side-by-side ziplines, so you can race your friends and family?
While Angel Fire Resort will offer the thrill seekers the high elevation segments that start at the 10,600' summit, they've also built milder courses for those with young families or those looking to zipline for the very first time. While there are no age restrictions, you must weight between 100 - 270 pounds to participate. Pricing starts at $105 per rider. Reservations will begin April 15, with the Zipline opening May 17th, 2013. Click here for BRoll of the Angel Fire Zipline Adventure Tour:
