My experiences with tennis began as a junior player. I played throughout
high school in San Antonio Texas and traveled for a year with a ranking on the ATP tour. Throughout my formative years, my love for the game grew and I knew that I was drawn to the game. As I continued with my education, I worked full time as the Head Assistant Tennis professional at a Top level Program. After several years in this position, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. At about the same time, the Director of tennis had accepted another position, and I was offered the Directorship at this facility. I felt this was the path I was meant to follow and accepted the opportunity. I was drawn to the game, while fostering physical and mental growth in children and adults. My mission statement is to treat every person as they were the most important client in our program. To grow every client’s tennis ability, develop a lifelong love for fitness, grow kids’ self-esteem, while treating all with honesty and respect. Being accountable is a trait I believe has been lost in our country, but not at the facility for which I work. I am passionate for teaching individuals of all ages (from 3 – 93yrs. of age). I believe in first and foremost fostering self-concept and self-esteem while making tennis fun. I also believe in the full lesson experience. This
includes a cardio/strength experience.
