There's plenty to do, and plenty that's new at Angel Fire Resort this summer. The highly-anticipated, multi-million construction of the Angel Fire Resort Golf Course & Country Club will begin this summer. The project will be completed in early 2010, resulting in the premiere, year-round country club facility in the Southwest. The new Country Club will feature a variety of first-class amenities, including a swimming pool, member fitness center, spa, large event meeting space and fine dining.

The construction is planned so as to have minimal impact on the summer 2008 golf season. The pro shop, dining facilities, parking and restrooms are being relocated via temporary "Sprung" building structures located close to the first tee. Please pardon the inconvenience, and come enjoy 18 holes of scenic high-elevation, PGA Championship golf. Changes in store for the course this summer include renovated bunkers and a new green on the 10th hole.

Angel Fire Resort continues to hold its status as the top mountain biking destination in New Mexico. World class events including the UCI World Cup, Collegiate National Championships and Mountain States Cup have resulted in now legendary downhill and cross-country trails, and perhaps one of the best 4-cross courses in the country. The mountain has plenty of switchback tree trails, rolling cruisers and wide, scenic vistas for the novice rider as well.

The Angel Fire Resort Hotel is planning some renovations as well. Currently, planning includes upgrades in decor, bedding and bathroom accessories in the rooms, as well as updates to building exterior, front entry and lobby, common areas, retail shops and restaurants - all intended to provide the finest family resort hotel accomodations in our area. To keep the business traveler connected during their stay, we've also added free wi-fi service for resort hotel guests in the lobby and common areas.
