A family-oriented clinic/urgent care center providing
medical care on both an appointment and a walk-in basis.
WHO WE ARE
Our staff consists of emergency department physicians,
physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical
technicians.
WHAT WE CAN DO
Our scope of practice includes all aspects of family
medicine, from pediatric fevers and illnesses to orthopedic
injuries and altitude sickness. We can do testing of urine for
infection and pregnancy, perform strep throat and mononucleosis
screening and check blood sugar and oxygen levels.
Our services include laceration repair (suturing), xray,
splinting (fiberglass casting) of broken bones. We stock
many of the common antibiotics and pain medications for
dispensing from the clinic.
If our examination suggests that you have a broken bone
that requires surgery or if you have a medical condition that
requires emergency treatment, we will make arrangements
to get you to the closest hospital, which is Holy Cross in Taos.
We will also contact the appropriate physician
specialist to
meet you at the hospital for treatment.
