Last winter, Angel Fire Resort celebrated our 40th anniversary "Winter of Love" with some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the country. Thanks to Mother Nature for a record December snow storm which dumped close to 60" in just over 48 hours. That was followed by regular one- to two-foot blasts throughout January. We can again boost our claim to the most varied terrain in New Mexico with the addition a new ten-acre glade skiing area on our mountain. This will be the third glade ski area created in the past three seasons, expanding Angel Fire Resort’s current terrain for all levels and abilities. Including 72 trails on 500+ ski-able acres, two terrain parks, extensive cross-country trails, a four-lane tubing hill and New Mexico’s only freestyle half-pipe.

Angel Fire Resort’s new unlimited season pass, the Southern Rockies Passport, offers one of the best pass skiing values in the Rockies. The pass gets you unlimited skiing and boarding at Angel Fire, as well as three days of free skiing each at Crested Butte, Monarch Mountain and Pajarito Ski Area. The Pass will also have a $50 stored value which can be redeemed at any Angel Fire Resort retail outlet or food establishment. The stored-value feature can be re-charged at any point-of-sale location as a convenience. Other season pass options include: Sundays Only Season Pass good for every Sunday of the season for just $149!

Off the mountain, Angel Fire Resort’s slope-side hotel is undergoing a major renovation. First projects for completion include a new guest arrival and lobby area, expanded fitness center, upgraded lounge areas, and four “showcase” hotel rooms providing a preview look at the finished product. The finished remodel will include a comprehensive facelift for both the exterior and interior of the hotel, 100% guest room remodels, refurbished parking areas and group meeting facilities and the latest in technology upgrades.
