Bi/Mono-Ski Adaptive
Bi/Mono or Sit-Ski Lessons
Also known as sit skiing, this adaptive equipment allows students to ski while seated in a specially designed, highly maneuverable ski.
Students can use handheld outriggers, similar to forearm crutches with small skis attached to help control their speed and direction. These tools provide stability and allow for greater independence on the mountain.
For guests with more significant physical disabilities, our instructors may offer assisted sit-ski lessons, where the instructor helps control speed and movement directly.
This option is ideal for participants with spinal cord injuries, amputations, or other conditions that severely affect muscle strength or lower-body function.
