USASA RETURN OF THE JEDI CHALLENGE | JANUARY 22 – 24
The USASA (United States of America Snowboard/Skier Association) is a grassroots organization that promotes fair and fun snowboard events and ski racing fostering a competitive spirit. We will be hosting a boarder/skiercross points-earning exhibition for USASA Nationals qualification, the USASA Southwest Freeride Series. Come for all the head-to-head excitement of racers pushing through berms, jumps, rollers, flats and more on our Exhibition course.
TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING TRANSAM TOUR | JANUARY 30
Taking flight this Winter at Angel Fire Resort, TransWorld SNOWboarding TransAm competition brings its 14th Annual Tour to New Mexico. This tour brings amateur riders from all over to progress the sport and continue to build the community’s comradery. Sweet prizes awarded, great exposure for up-and-coming riders, amazing unique features to ride, music and more are packed into this one-day of snowboarding. Register now! Online pre-registration closes at 2pm PST on Friday before the snowboard event.
UNM ULTIMATE SKI & SNOWBOARD CHALLENGE | JANUARY 30
The annual fund raising ski racing tradition for University of New Mexico’s Ski Program, formerly known as the UNM Corporate Ski Cup, returns to Angel Fire Resort for another fun and challenging day of giant slalom.
2016 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SHOVEL RACES | FEBRUARY 6
For the World Championship Shovel Races you’ll have trade in your race skis for a shovel. Join us for a fun-filled weekend of high-speed shovel racing and Mardi Gras celebrations. Cash prizes and bragging rights make for intense competition at this exciting winter tradition! Everyone is invited to participate.
USASA LIBERATION EMANCIPATION – SLOPESTYLE | FEBRUARY 7
USASA Liberation Emancipation – Slopestyle Competition returns with the Southwest’s best and up-and-coming skiers and snowboarders compete in Liberation Terrain Park for slopestyle bragging rights and points towards earning a birth to Nationals 2016. Come to compete or to watch some impressive tricks.

This ski racing series swings into Angel Fire for a stop on its 2015-2016 tour for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. This fun race gives winter enthusiasts another opportunity to take in the excitement of winter racing and supports Team Angel Fire Ski & Snowboard Club.

As we close out the Ski Racing season we bring our the fat bikes! Bring your fat tire mountain bikes and dress in your favorite St. Paddy’s Day outfit for some friendly competitions and Brew Ski as the snow season ends and the dirt season begins.
