DESCRIPTION:Come out for four Saturday nights of racing and beer starting Saturday\, February 8\, through Saturday\, and March 1st. The races will begin at 5 PM.\n \n Registration opens on Friday\, February 7th\, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Village Haus.\nYou can also register on Saturday\, February 8th\, from 2 PM to 3 PM at Village Haus. \n \n The cost is $125 per team or $25 for individuals who would like to be placed on a team.\nYou can pay with cash or card at registration. \n Registration fee includes 1 beer per participant (21+) per race.\n All Proceeds go to Angel Fire Ski/Snowboard Team. No discounts apply.\n \nTeam Parameters:\n\n6 members per team\nMust include at least one differing discipline\nMust include at least one differing gender\n\n*Must be over 21 to drink.\n*Each skier/rider over 21 will receive one beer ticket after the races\, good for one beer.\n*There will be a weekly drawing for a prize from our sponsors. Must be present to win.\n \nThe Awards Ceremony will take place at Village Haus on Saturday\, March 1st\, following the final run of the last race day.

DESCRIPTION:Come out for four Saturday nights of racing and beer starting Saturday\, February 8\, through Saturday\, and March 1st. The races will begin at 5 PM.\n \n Registration opens on Friday\, February 7th\, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Village Haus.\nYou can also register on Saturday\, February 8th\, from 2 PM to 3 PM at Village Haus. \n \n The cost is $125 per team or $25 for individuals who would like to be placed on a team.\nYou can pay with cash or card at registration. \n Registration fee includes 1 beer per participant (21+) per race.\n All Proceeds go to Angel Fire Ski/Snowboard Team. No discounts apply.\n \nTeam Parameters:\n\n6 members per team\nMust include at least one differing discipline\nMust include at least one differing gender\n\n*Must be over 21 to drink.\n*Each skier/rider over 21 will receive one beer ticket after the races\, good for one beer.\n*There will be a weekly drawing for a prize from our sponsors. Must be present to win.\n \nThe Awards Ceremony will take place at Village Haus on Saturday\, March 1st\, following the final run of the last race day.

Competitors may bring their own or Angel Fire Resort will have shovels from sponsors Alpine Lumber and Bluebird Mountain Sports.\nCompetitors must wear a helmet and eye protection for all practice and competition runs.\nNo physical alterations are allowed to the running surface of the grain scoops (shovels) other than the application of wax or similar type substance to the underside or bottom of the scoop. You may adhere tape or other similar materials to the handle of the shovel to make it easier to grip. You may paint the seat of the grain scoop but no traction aiding substance is allowed.\nBarging the start gate constitutes a false start. First false start in a heat is a warning\, second false start in a heat is a disqualification.\nIf a racer is not sitting on their shovel upon crossing the finish line\, that racer will receive a DNF (did not finish) for that run. Should a racer come off their shovel during a “Time Trial” or Little Scoops run\, they will receive a DNF for that run and will be required to immediately move laterally off the course. Should a racer come off of their shovel during a “Heat” run\, the racer can get back on their shovel and legally cross over the finish line to finish the heat.\nNo protests\nDuring Finals\, that run counts; we will not accept the qualifying time if that run is faster.\nYou must make a concerted effort to self-arrest after crossing the finish line\, or you will get a DQ.

This program is designed for all ability levels\, from first-timers through experts. You will be placed in a group of comparable ability\, pace\, and goals. You’ll also get the opportunity to mingle with other members during weekly social hours!  \nThe four-week program is $229 for members and $299 for non-members. Must be 21+.
