Throughout the year, Angel Fire Resort offers seasonal guided hunts on 2500+ acres of privately owned resort property. For the 2026 season, exclusive guided hunts will be offered for elk (bulls and cows) and deer for rifle and bow hunting enthusiasts. An experienced guide will accompany every hunt.
ABOUT YOUR GUIDE
Guide Services are provided by Josh Salazar. Josh is a fourth-generation New Mexican rancher with over seventeen years of guide experience in the region. His passion for the outdoors and wildlife management is contagious and has left many hunters with a greater appreciation for nature.
2026 GUIDED HUNT OPTIONS
BULL ELK – 5 Day Hunt
A five-day hunt includes six nights of lodging in a luxury private residence with nightly catered gourmet dinners from Elements, a five-day hunt with a private landowner permit, and guide service.

ELK – 3 Day Hunt: One Hunter Only
A three-day hunt includes four nights of lodging in a luxury private residence with nightly catered gourmet dinners from Elements, a three-day hunt with a private landowner permit, and guide service.

COMBO ELK/MULE DEER
Five-day hunt includes six nights of lodging in a luxury private residence with nightly catered gourmet dinners from Elements, a five-day hunt with a private landowner permit, and a guide service. (This hunt has the option to upgrade to deer and elk – $10,000.00 per hunter)

MULE DEER
Five-day hunt includes six nights of lodging in a luxury private residence with nightly catered gourmet dinners from Elements, a five-day hunt with a private landowner permit, and a guide service. (This hunt has the option to upgrade to deer/bull Elk – $10,000.00 per hunter)

COW ELK
Three-day hunt includes four nights of lodging in a luxury private residence with nightly catered gourmet dinners from Elements, a three-day hunt with a private landowner permit, and guide service.
Dates:
- AVAILABLE | November 9-11: $3,000 + tax per person
- AVAILABLE | November 16-18: $3,000 + tax per person
All hunts should be booked for 2 people, excludes the 3 day Elk Hunt, (price is per person)
Additional non-hunt guest $150/day

A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required upon reservation/full payment due 30 days before arrival.
You must additionally purchase a New Mexico hunting license and a liability waiver must be completed before your hunt.
