Today was one of those magical days! We received 3" overnight with 3" more falling throughout the day leaving us with 6" of snow to play in. This storm is delivering the snow, and we're all smiles ❄️🌨️😁! We're up to 6" so far, with snowflakes continuing to fall from the sky. Through March 23, Spring Break is here ☀️⛷️😎, and Angel Fire Resort is the place to be! If you haven't made your plans for slushy skiing fun, now's the time. We've got events, live music, family-friendly fun booked on our Events Calendar, and the best spring skiing in New Mexico. Get the kids off the screens on skis/snowboards and escape to the mountains to create lasting memories and give them a break to remember! Liberation Terrain Park got another update, just in time for Spring Break! Through closing day (March 23), enjoy a flow track perfect for cruising down, catching some air, and creating lines with friends and family! Night Skiing EVERY Night at Angel Fire Resort 🌙⛷️🏂 With Spring Break here, we're celebrating every evening and are offering our unique ONLY NIGHT SKIING IN NEW MEXICO every night until our closing date of March 23rd. Watch the sunset and take in the incredible mountain views, only $25 to add night skiing to your day ticket! ⚠️ Safety Sunday ⚠️ Alex, our First Aid Supervisor, shares with us ten ways to avoid collisions as you enjoy the mountain: 🙋‍♂️ Give each other space. ⛷️ Stay in control. 👀 Look back and uphill when you see trails merging sign. 🥱 If you need a break, try to stand off the trail so you're not in the way. 👁️ While resting, keep an eye uphill. 🔛 Call out "on your right/left" while passing. 🌀 Keep your head on a swivel and be aware of your surroundings. 🐢 Reduce your speed when you see a slow sign. 👇 The skier below you has the right of way. If you're involved in a collision, you must stop, call Ski Patrol, and remain at the scene until patrol arrives. We want everyone to have a blast skiing/riding with us; please help everyone have fun by being aware as you enjoy the mountain and avoid collisions! It takes a village to run a mountain—and we’re lucky to have incredible women in every department leading the way! 💪❄️ From Ski Patrol to Lift Ops, Ski School to Rentals, Accounting to HR, Lodging to Food & Beverage, and even our Mountain Director—Angel Fire Resort is powered by women who bring skill, passion, and dedication to the slopes and beyond. This #InternationalWomensDay, we celebrate all the women who make the mountain an amazing place to work and play. 10" of snow overnight, with more falling throughout the morning! Today was a fantastic day on the mountain. The fresh snow will keep conditions excellent as we welcome our Spring Break skiers and riders!
