The Moreno Valley is home to a growing network of cross country trails from short out & backs to New Mexico’s only IMBA EPIC trail. Angel Fire area trail maps can be downloaded from both TrailForks & MTB Project.


IMBA EPIC Trails

South Boundary Trail

Not every trail has what it takes to receive an EPIC designation from IMBA. The South Boundary Trail is currently the only trail in New Mexico to have such recognition. This 22-mile upper intermediate trail is best ridden as a shuttled ride from Angel Fire, with another vehicle waiting at the finish near Taos.

Greenbelt Trails

The Greenbelt trail system is a free-access system of trails located within the Village of Angel Fire open to non-motorized traffic including:

  • Cross Country Mountain Biking
  • Running
  • Hiking
  • Snowshoeing
  • Horseback Riding
