3-Track and 4-Track Skiing
This adaptive skiing technique uses traditional ski equipment combined with long-arm outriggers — crutches with small skis attached at the ends. These additional supports help students maintain balance, control their speed, and steer while skiing.
3-Track or 4-Track lessons are designed for individuals who have limited lower-body movement but can stand and move with support. This option is popular among amputees and guests who experience weakness or instability in their legsbut are able to move independently using crutches.
