Just a short drive from the resort, guests can visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial State Park, the first state memorial in the United States dedicated to Vietnam War veterans.
Set on 30 peaceful acres surrounded by the Southern Rockies, the memorial offers a space for quiet remembrance and gratitude. Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Visitor Center or Chapel, and those visiting later in the season may also choose to attend the memorial’s annual Memorial Day Ceremony.
