Holy Cow! Now that was an Opening Weekend!
Angel Fire Resort is now open 7 Days a week until 3/24/19. In addition, the Tubing Hill, Sledding Hill, and Resort Dining options are also open!
Thank you to all that came out to help us celebrate the beginning of the 2018/19 season, it’s only going to get better from here. We had a lot going on this weekend, so let’s break it down and take a look at all the fun things that were going on!

German Ski Legend: Richard Schabl
3 Time World Champion skier, Richard Schabl stopped by this weekend to show us some of his moves and do some filming at Angel Fire Resort. The footage that Mr. Schabl obtained will be used in his upcoming documentary about the evolution of the Ski Industry, expected to be released in Fall 2019. In addition, he also took photos that will be featured in an upcoming coffee table book from Audi. Check out a sneak peek below:
Mark Ronchetti: Opening Weekend
KRQE Chief Meteorologist Mark Ronchetti & Family also paid a visit to Angel Fire Resort’s Opening Weekend. While here, Mark gave us a little forecast of what we can expect for snow between Christmas & New Years, and we love the good news he had to share!
