The holidays are upon us and there is a lot of family fun to go around. We created a our top 5 list of things to do, to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action.
Ski with Santa & Mrs. Claus
Hit the slopes with Santa & Mrs Claus on Christmas Day & Christmas Eve from 10am-3pm. Don’t forget your camera to snap up some memories. You can also join us for photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus in the lobby from on Christmas Eve from 4:30-5pm.
Enjoy a Magic Show
We are offering four Mysto Mysto Magic Shows this holiday season for the whole family to enjoy. All shows will be in the Garden Court located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Tip: Buy your tickets online 24 hours in advance to save $5 per child. Otherwise doors open 30 minutes before the show & you can buy your tickets at the door.
Watch the Torchlight Parade & Fireworks
Angel Fire Resort has two torchlight parades. One on Christmas Eve and one on New Year’s Eve. The torchlight parades are one of the most unique things to experience at Angel Fire Resort. A torchlight parade is a parade of skiers and snowboarders, all holding torches or lights, that ski in-line down the mountain after dark. This creates a beautiful show of moving lights down the mountain. It is a great way to celebrate the holidays with the family. The parades will start at dark. After the parade you will be treated to a fun and festive fireworks display. Warm up with Hot Chocolate in the Village Haus after the show.
Have Holiday Dinner at Elements
Elements has an array of delicious buffets this holiday season. They start on Christmas Eve, continue on Christmas Day and finally will be featured on New Year’s Eve. Try on or Try them all, the food at Elements is always delicious. Reservations are required for all Holiday Buffets, call (575) 377-3055 to reserve a table for your family.
Go Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is an easy activity for the whole family to participate in. The Nordic Center rents snowshoes, and snowshoeing is allowed on the Nordic Center Trails everyday through January 1. Snowshoeing is also allowed on all the Greenbelt Trails and most of the Greenbelt Trails have picnic tables along the way. Remember to dress for the weather.
