Member Guided Hike (Enlightenment Trail)

If you’re up for a challenge, we invite you to join our member guided hike up the Enlightenment Trail. This is an ADVANCED hiking trail that spans over 2000 vertical feet, from the base of Angel Fire Resort to the summit. We will be trekking about 4 miles up a steep, rugged and narrow trail. You MUST be in good physical condition. Hiking poles are recommended along with plenty of water. Once we reach the summit, you can ride down the Chili Express or choose to hike back down.

We will be meeting at the staircase outside of El Jefe at 9:45 AM and on the trail by 10 AM. This is classified as a HARD hiking trial and will take about two hours to complete if you choose to ride the chairlift down or 4 hours if you choose to hike back down.
