Arrival & Check-In

Stand-Up Participants: Please arrive at least 1.5 hours before your lesson start time.
This allows time to visit our rental shop, get fitted for equipment, and make your way to the Ski School Meeting Place.
If needed, additional adaptive gear such as outriggers, tip clamps, or tethers is provided at no extra cost.

Sit-Ski Participants: Check in at the Ski School Ticket Office at least 15 minutes before your scheduled lesson.
ADA parking and a convenient ramp are located in the cul-de-sac directly in front of the office.

Before You Begin

After check-in, your dedicated instructor will meet with you to discuss your goals, physical needs, and any adaptive equipment required.
This setup process typically takes between 5 and 30 minutes, depending on your equipment and lesson objectives.
Once everything is properly adjusted, you’ll head to the appropriate terrain to begin your personalized instruction.

During Your Lesson

Lessons are customized to each participant’s ability level and goals.
Your instructor will work with you to improve technique, build confidence, and make sure you’re comfortable throughout the session.

End of Lesson

At the conclusion of your lesson, you and your instructor will regroup at a designated meeting area to review your progress and discuss next steps for continued improvement.

Weather & Clothing

Lessons take place in all weather conditions. Temperatures may vary from cold and windy at the top of the mountain to warm and sunny at the base.
Sit-ski participants may feel cooler due to reduced movement, so please dress appropriately.

  • Waterproof or water-resistant ski pants, jacket, and gloves
  • Warm, insulated boots or footwear
  • Hat or helmet with goggles (or sunglasses)
  • Sunscreen for sun exposure at high altitude

Reservations

Reservation requests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
