Angel Fire Resort is excited to announce the construction of two new chair lifts, designed to enhance mountain access and improve the skiing and riding experience for our members and visitors.
Construction of a new fixed-grip quad chair lift will begin in the summer of 2025 on the back side of the mountain. This lift will provide access to some of Angel Fire’s most beloved terrain. We anticipate this new chair lift to be ready for use by the start of the 2025-2026 ski season.
Beginning this spring, tree cutting will commence for a new six-pack detachable chairlift on the front side of the mountain. This state-of-the-art lift will significantly improve uphill capacity and efficiency. Its targeted completion date is December 2026. This will be the only “six-pack” chairlift in the state of New Mexico.
Angel Fire Resort is also making significant progress on our new pickleball courts and Tennis & Pickleball Pro Shop. These amenities are designed to enhance recreational opportunities for our members and guests.
During the summer of 2025, you’ll notice heavy equipment on site near Olympic Park as mass grading begins for this state-of-the-art facility. The complex will feature eight new pickleball courts, designed to meet the growing demand for this fast-paced and engaging sport. The pickleball courts are expected to be completed by late fall.
Additionally, construction of a new Tennis & Pickleball Pro Shop will follow, offering an upgraded space for tennis and pickleball players to gather, purchase equipment, and take advantage of expert instruction.
Alongside these exciting developments, a brand-new splash pad and disc golf course are also being built. These will provide even more outdoor fun for families and players of all ages.
