Just when you think the view at Monte Verde Lake can't get any better... 🌈✨ 📷: Kevin Megli Our Trail Crew keeps more than just the Bike Park trails in tip-top shape. This week, the team was out improving Powerline, a trail on our Greenbelt Trail system! Thanks to everyone who sold or found a treasure at the Gear Swap this past weekend, we appreciate your support for the Angel Fire Ski & Snowboard Team! Summer isn’t over yet 😎 Spend your Labor Day weekend with us, paddling across Monte Verde Lake in the sunshine with perfect temperatures 🚣‍♀️ 🛶 ! The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting longer, and temperatures are cooling off in Angel Fire! After Labor Day, Monday the 2nd, the Chile Express lift will operate on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to give you access to all the activities, fun, food and views at our summit. We plan to be open for late summer and fall outdoor activities through October 27, weather permitting. Come one, come all to buy and sell new and gently used gear! We’re hosting a Gear Swap at Winter Sports on August 31st and September 1st. We’re focused on all outdoor gear, so bring skis, snowboards, bikes, camping equipment, and outdoor clothing! Sales will benefit Team Angel Fire Ski & Snowboard. Sellers receive 80% of the sale price, and 20% goes to the Ski & Snowboard Team! Schedule: 🗓️ Saturday, August 31 🚲 8 AM – Sellers can bring their gear to Winter Sports to have it inventoried by our staff and volunteers. They are free to bring their gear throughout the duration of the event. 🎿 10 AM – 4 PM – Swap open for sales 🗓️ Sunday, September 1 ⛺ 10 AM – 4 PM – Swap open for sales *Any unsold gear not picked up by the owner by Monday, September 2 at 12 PM will be donated to local charity shops. 🎟️ Raffle: Bring cash because we will be raffling off a pair of used demo skis. Raffle tickets will cost $5 each, or 5 tickets for $20. All money raised will be going to the Angel Fire Ski Team. Thank you for making the 4th Annual Monte Verde Lake Regatta 🛶 a memorable day! 🙌 It was nonstop fun on and near the water. 🌊 Enjoy our recap video for all the best moments and if you missed out this year, be sure to join us next August 🗓️ for the next one! Patrick West, Bike Park Manager, is here to update us on our uphill travel trail, Enlightenment! It is open to hikers and riders; it begins at our base and goes all the way to the summit. With fresh work done by the @angelfiretrailcrew it’s never been in better shape, and it’s a perfect weekend activity to gain some elevation and check out the views from the top!
