Winter is coming, and we are gearing up!  Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, we’re thrilled to share that we had an incredibly successful summer season. Now we are busy preparing for the 2020-2021 winter season. As the aspen leaves turn to gold, we want you to rest assured the snow is coming, and our lifts will be spinning soon. We’re looking forward to having your family up here to pop on your skis and snowboards and play in the snow this year at Angel Fire Resort.

This summer, we implemented COVID-safe practices including proper social distancing and increased sanitizing of our resort. Our team’s extra efforts to ensure our guests’ health and safety allowed us to provide golf, fishing, tennis, hiking, scenic chair rides, disc golf and plenty of downhill and cross-country mountain biking in a COVID-safe environment. We’ve also offered lodging accommodations and plenty of dining options, all while following the NMDOH capacity requirements.

We have embraced the challenge of opening and operating our wide variety of activities to provide a safe, fun and socially responsible experience for our guests, staff and community. The lessons we have learned during our summer season have allowed us to evolve our processes and best practices as we adapt our operations to this dynamic environment. This has allowed us to prepare for a fun winter in a wise and measured way.  We will maintain our services’ quality and familiarity as close to normal while being mindful of the public health guidelines and regulations. Just like we did throughout this summer, we will continue to lead this winter with the best in safety and sanitation methods, optimism and goodwill.

We promise to still deliver those memories, those smiles (though perhaps hidden by masks), and many of the programs, pass products and experiences you have come to associate with Angel Fire Resort.  Our guests who stay at the Lodge, our luxury RV Resort, or at one of our resort-managed vacation rental homes or condos can rest assured that they will have priority access to lift tickets, rentals and ski and snowboard school lessons. Additionally, our Members will continue to have unrestricted access to the mountain.

We look forward to sharing more specifics on how the ski and resort operations will look by email and social media over the coming weeks.  Reservations for lessons, tickets and other activities will be available soon.  We’d like to thank our devoted skiers, riders and season pass holders for their patience as we prepare for our winter season.  Creating a fantastic ski season will require much planning and patience from everyone.  This will be a partnership with you to provide safe, fun and memorable times on the slopes.
