What To Expect For the
2020-2021 Winter Season

We are very excited to begin another winter season at Angel Fire Resort and have made many changes to the resort to comfortably operate during these uncertain times.

To adhere to all New Mexico Department of Health guidelines and to encourage the health and safety of our guests, our staff, and our community, Angel Fire will be operating at LIMITED capacity with strict regulations in place. We greatly appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our members and guests as we navigate this unprecedented season.

To get you on the mountain efficiently, you can now book your lift tickets, rentals, and lessons online in one convenient place. Reservations will be required on busy weekends and holidays if you are not a member with skiing privileges or season pass holder. Reservations are highly suggested for every day!

3.21, LET’S GET THERE TOGETHER

To help make your winter trip to Angel Fire as fun and easy as 3 – 2 – 1, and to help us get to our season closing date of 3.21, here are some things to keep in mind as you plan your trip:

  • Mask up when in any public space, both indoors and out.
  • Reserve your tickets, rentals, and lessons online in advance.
  • Ride the lift only with your own party.
  • Arrive at the mountain early.
  • Practice social distancing in all public areas and keep 6 ft. between yourself and others.
  • Be patient, be courteous, be kind.

Lift Tickets

• If you are a member with skiing privileges, a season pass holder, or a 4 or 6-pack holder, no reservation is needed for the duration of the ski season.

• The mountain will be operating at LIMITED capacity. It is recommended to arrive early.

• For peace of mind, we highly encourage advanced online booking if you are not a member, a season pass holder, or a 4 or 6-pack holder.

• If you are not a member with skiing privileges, a season pass holder, or a 4 or 6-pack holder, advanced online booking is required for the following holiday periods:
Dec. 19-Jan. 6, Jan. 15-19, Feb. 12-15, Mar. 13-20

• Platinum Members in good standing will still have direct to lift access with their Platinum Membership card.

• Premium members: Please call 800-633-7463 to reserve your rentals and lessons or to purchase lift tickets for friends and family.

• Face coverings are required and must be worn in all public spaces.

Parking & Transportation

• The Green, Blue, and Black Parking Lots will be open.

• Shuttles will be operating at 50% capacity.

• We encourage guests to drop-off in the Aspen Cul-de-sac to reduce shuttle ridership.

• Face coverings are required and must be worn during transport.

Lodging

• Angel Fire Lodging will be operating at LIMITED capacity.

• For peace of mind, we highly encourage booking your lodging far in advance.

• Face coverings are required and must be worn in all public spaces.

Ski School

• All children's group lessons are by reservation only. Reservations must be made no less than 5 days from arrival and will sell out quickly! No walk-up reservations will be taken.

• For the 2020-2021 season, all Level 4-9 adult group lessons are available in private format only.

• For peace of mind, we highly encourage booking your adult group lessons in advance online.

• Reservations for adult group lessons will be required for the following holiday periods:
Dec. 19-Jan. 6, Jan. 15-19, Feb. 12-15, Mar. 13-20

• All private lessons must be booked in advance by phone at (800) 633-7463.

• All lessons will comply with current New Mexico Department of Health guidelines.

• Parents will not be permitted inside the Children’s Ski and Snowboard Center to meet and exceed all current New Mexico Department of Health guidelines.

• All children attending group lessons at Children’s Ski and Snowboard Center must bring a medium sized backpack to hold personal belongings throughout the day.

• All children must have at least one face covering over the mouth and nose consistent with outdoor temperatures and conditions.

Ski and Snowboard Rentals

• Reservations are required for the following dates:
Dec. 19-Jan. 6, Jan. 15-19, Feb. 12-15, Mar. 13-20

• For all other dates, we highly encourage booking your rentals in advance online to save time and money.

• To help maintain social distancing, we recommend the following:

- If you are lodging in Angel Fire and not taking lessons, please book your rental equipment with Winter Sports.
- If your rentals are part of an adult ski school lesson package OR children's or adult private lesson, please book your rental equipment with Slopeside Sports.
- Rentals for children's group lessons will be picked up at check-in at the Children's Ski and Snowboard Center.

Dining

• All Angel Fire dining will be operating at limited capacity.

• Face coverings are required and must be worn in all public spaces when not seated at your table.

• Take-out, online ordering, home delivery, and room service at The Lodge will be available. See link below for more details.

Winter Activities

• Tubing will be limited to 2 lanes and 1 hour sessions. All tubing will start at 9 AM and be limited to 30 people per session.

• Advanced booking recommended on all activites.

• Face coverings are required and must be worn in all public spaces.
