Angel Fire Bike Park’s Fire 5 is the premier downhill race series in the Rocky Mountains presented by Schwalbe. This series consists of three unique downhill races held at Angel Fire Bike Park throughout the bike season. Amateurs and pros alike are invited to join us for one or all three races.

Competitors 21 and over will receive two beer tickets per race to enjoy during the awards ceremony. Awards will be given for 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd places in all categories. Riders must be present to be eligible for awards. No awards will be mailed.

The new Lil’ Shredders category (12 & under) will have their own race course unique from the main race course and will race on Saturday.

Note: Online registration will close Friday at noon before each race weekend. Same-day registration & packet pickup will be held in the Bike Shop Saturday 9am-12:30pm and Sunday from 8-9:30am.

Awards

Individual Race Awards 

Cash Prizes will be paid out to the top 3 finishers of both Male Pro & Female Pro categories.

Amateur prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for all categories averaging $2,500 in retail prizes per race. Angel Fire Bike Park has the right to change the cash payout or combine classes if there are not 5 in a category. The top 3 in every category class will make the podium.
